This band has constantly worked on their technical maturity of their almost progressive grind death metal material. Now, the senses of some a listener will be drifting, for "Epitaph", the second album of Necrophagist's degrades some another album of this genre to nothingness. It's really unbelievable how this homogenous mass of speechless making instrumental performances is delivered. No wonder, in the 10 years of their existence, the quartet had all the time to mature to absolute perfection. Abnormal: crazily precise light speed riffing of the highest category goes together with flawless killer breaks and unite with truly breathtaking drum-attacks, inhuman vocal arts and highly unconventional melodies to an almighty death metal music machinery. The abilities of all participating musicians are just boundless.
