by Frank Stöver (null) My expectations were already pretty high but I never thought that the band could top these as simple as this. After "Stormblast" and the mini CD "Devil's path" the guys from Norway created almost 60 minutes of mid tempo black metal madness and serve us with a real treat. The compositions are dominated by catchy keyboard melodies and the guitars are a lot bruter than on "Stormblast", which creates an almost perfect contrast between aggression and melodies. A production full of pressure and a well-done cover design are the icing on the cake. An album that prooved itself worth the title of masterpiece.
