17.Oh yeah! (Video)
by Jürgen Tschamler (29.09.2006) Our well beloved scandalous Texas Terri Bomb used to play under the name of Texas Terri & The Stiff Ones in the early years. Between 1995 and 200, they carried that name and released one album: "Eat shit". In 2001 it was re-released: "Eat shit +1". Now, People Like You Records decided to re-release it again - with 4 bonus tracks, hence "Eat shit +4". Smart, hey? Anyway. New is e.g. "Oh yeah!" as a video. Texas Terri didn't really sound much different than they do now, maybe a pinch punkier, less powerful, yet still unmistakable. The material is rather simple as Punk was in the early days. Texas Terri successfully tried to capture this circumstance on their album. They e.g. covered the The Dictators song "Baby let's twist", as well as "Lifetime problems" of The Dicks. Since the lady is gonna be touring Europe in October I can only recommend to you not to let this chance go by - beautiful gutter entertainment.
