by Holger (null) After the great No Fun At All album, Lagwagon know as well how to convince the listener with their new drummer on board. All right, the strong NOFX influences go on my nerves, but the opener "Alien 8" proves that half a copy is 3/4 the victory. "Making friends" lets the fat production shimmer through for the first time and the rest of the album is just as packed with melodies and harmonies. To those who like good music and can do without a lot of individuality I highly recommend "Double plaidinium". Freshmen should rather serve themselves with the originals. Nevertheless, a really acceptable release.
