On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the famous Four from Birmingham, the 'inventors' of heavy metal are once again honored by the prominent tribute trio led by guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde with the double Album 'Doomed Forever Forever Doomed'. With this loving homage, the Americans deliver brilliant interpretations of BLACK SABBATH's second and third Albums, the classic heavy metal masterpieces 'Paranoid' (1970) and 'Master of Reality' (1971).
ZAKK SABBATH was founded by BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde, who is also known for his long-standing role as lead guitarist for OZZY OSBOURNE and, more recently, for PANTERA. After ZAKK SABBATH initially performed live with changing members, the band finally found a stable lineup with OZZY OSBOURNE and ROB ZOMBIE bassist Blasko and Joey Castillo on drums (DANZIG, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE). Inspired by the 50th anniversary of BLACK SABBATH's self-titled debut Album, ZAKK SABBATH released a tribute to this monumental heavy metal milestone titled 'Vertigo' in 2020. The Album was praised by critics and fans alike. The trio achieved worldwide success, reflected in impressive chart positions: the Album debuted at number 5 on the US Hard Music Charts, number 7 on the Current Rock Albums Charts, and number 27 on the Billboard Top Album Charts. In France, it even reached number 1 on the Metal Album Charts, and in addition to reaching number 3 on the German Album Charts and number 9 on the UK Top 40 Rock/Metal Charts, it also achieved success in other countries.
The burning passion for heavy metal has driven ZAKK SABBATH to erect an even more monolithic monument to BLACK SABBATH with the double Album 'Doomed Forever Forever Doomed'. Not only headbangers can look forward to fantastic interpretations of these classic songs, which are certainly among the most influential and consequential ever composed by human hands!
