This man wrote Metal-history. The first part of Dimevision contains a lot of private film material, fragments of solos of the early days of Pantera, TV-reportages and photo series. It shows Dime in macabre jokes with colleagues, but most of all his brilliance as musician.

by Markus Wosgien (04.04.2007) Many things have been written about the death of Pantera guitarist, Dimebag Darrell. Pantera was a phenomenon that fortunately left us with many classics. Now you get the first DVD compilation with private film-material of and about the exceptional guitarist. The one side presents Dimebag in privacy of e.g. how he penetrates friends with rockets and firing, the other shows rare recordings of old shows fro the early days of Pantera. Already this early, it should have been clear that this is a great guitarist to be. The DVD shows an incredible number of solos from all periods, some with Glam outfit and poodle hairs. This is where you know at the latest what you don't have anymore and get back the old records from the shelf. In between, there are picture galeries even presenting Dimebag as a small boy. Also TV recordings are part of this documentation, and especially the CNN appearance impresses. It is a fact that Dimebag was a great guitarist who always had fun in life and who was great mate, too.
