by Oliver Kube (October 2005) The Berlin-based Mad Sin are one of the few German bands that are at the world's top of their genre. That won't change with the ninth album of the crazy psychobilly-veterans, either. If possible at all, the guys around the charismatic frontman and head of the band, Koefte Deville could further enhance their leading position. The hymns, "T.C.S." and "Underground", the galloping "Radio psycho" or "Houdini's pool", which would perfectly fit a soundtrack for a beautifully trashy, old horror-movie with Vincent Price, are among the smartest, wittiest and most energetic this genre as well as most others in Rock'n'Roll have to offer. If you like the Misfits, Turbonegro and maybe Die Γrzte and still haven't heard of Mad Sin you'll soon become a fan with this album. And row in among people like e.g. Patricia, front lady of the Horrorpops, and Rancid-boss, Lars Frederiksen, who had the pleasure to collaborate on "Dead moon's calling". (Oliver Kube - October 2005)
