After "Interlude" and the following tour on which Kai Hansen was conspicuous by his absence, he now was replaced by Joachim "Piesel" Küstner (glad that you're English fellows, otherwise you would wonder about this nickname ...). But he can play as can be confirmed by the guys of Lacrimosa, because there too he inhabits the guitar-position. The story of the new album tells another part of the Iron Savior saga: On their way to a new planet they visit planet Earth and choose to attack it. Just when the defeat of the human race seems inevitable, the forgotten Savior return and saves them. "Dark assault" surely is not really variable or experimental but who expect that of these guys? They delivered a typical album instead will delight everybody who loved the predecessor.
