Schattenmann’s style in 2023 boasts powerful and dynamic sound: the guitars prove yet again to be certifiable riff monsters and the drums and bass uphold their reputation as mercilessly driving groove machines. This rock-hard sound syndicate embellishes itself through its revelatory lead vocals and discreet, cunningly woven synth sounds. ‘Día de Muertos’ is scheduled for release on 30 June 2023 via AFM Records. But right before it drops, the band is set to release five singles, including ‘Jeder ist schlecht’ and ‘Dickpic’, in which SCHATTENMANN are just as socially critical as always. The German band will definitely break new ground with this album, yet they remain true to themselves.
