In 2002, Lacuna Coil released an album that is now undeniably a millennial anthem and established the band as one of the few who had the endurance to walk the path that lay before them at that time.
Now, 20 years later, Lacuna Coil has decided to re-record the songs, but not simply as they were. Instead, they deconstructed them and transported them to the year 2022. 'This is not a reboot or spin-off or anything like that,' says singer Cristina Scabbia. 'We just wanted to give these songs a makeover for 2022 and see how a guy or girl who was born 20 years ago would still look damn chic in 2022.'
