by Björn Thorsten Jaschinski (20.04.2009) Who'd thought this Polish Gothic/Black Metal bastard is still alive? In the latter half of the 90s, they had made themselves a name in the dark scene with their demo compilation "Echo" and their debut "Taran". They never delivered any best sellers, though - their songwriting was much too unorthodox for the genre which was leaning more towards mainstream back then. Until 2004 you didn't hear a peep from them - since then, the band has released two EPs, another album and a DVD, all being mostly unknown due to the lack of a distribution company. Now they have one (Regain), so things are about to change. The quintet should hire session keyboardist Voit for good - his orchestrations add to the atmorsphere anyway. Apart from aggression ("Sin Iis the law"), the band likes it sluggish and mid-tempo, the vocals changing from painful recitative to screaming and mystical chorus ("Eyes of the blind lamb").
