After a two-year recording break, 'Poets of the Fall' have announced their return with the CD “Clearview”. On the seventh studio album from the “Best Finnish Act” (MTV European Music Awards 2006), a lot has changed in the last 13 years since their formation: firstly, the sextet from Helsinki have recruited a producer – Stefan Boman, known for his work with The Hellacopters, Def Leppard and Alice Cooper; the video to the first single “Drama for Life” is no longer based in the world of Sci-Fi/Fantasy like the bands earlier music clips, but is firmly set in reality. In terms of the sound, singer Marko Saaresto and friends have found a happy medium between radio soft rock and powerful alternative rock - with added punk charm.
