by Matthias Mineur (October 2005) For more than 20 years, Saga kept their secret: their "Chapter" series, spread over numerous studio-albums runs like a common thread through the history of the Canadians without giving their fans too much of an insight into what the story is all about. Now, Michael Sadler & Co. reveal the story to the public and present all chapters in chronological order, live and in a terrific sound-quality. Now, we learn that the "Chapters" is some kind of universal statement about the state of our planet. And although the songs were written over the course of two decades, they sound like a united whole. The spherical keyboard passages, the famous guitar riffs, the charismatic vocals of Sadler's: after only some notes, you are into the world of Saga. The only remaining question is: will there be new chapters on the upcoming Saga releases in the future? Go for it! (Matthias Mineur - October 2005)
