15.Fit In My Skin
by Jürgen Tschamler (27.09.2007) The last sign of life of the Scandinavians was called, "Partners in crime Vol.1", and was a darned cheek, if you will pardon my saying so. For one because the idea to release an album with cover versions was old, for the other because many of the songs were simply crap – something you couldn't say about the new The Bones-album! On the contrary: the 15 tracks rumble, rock, roll, groove and score high-score. Extremely tight, the quartet rock the album with the approved trademarks that it is pure fun to listen to. Finest Rock'n'Roll with good singalong qualities and some unmistakable hymns. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower but you constantly feel the boundless tension the songs radiate. "Straight flush ghetto", e.g., (curiously enough the title of the last studio album!), "Flatline fever", "Sealed with a fist" (with a very cool Psycho influence) and "Black day boogie" wipe all doubts away. The guys just set forth where they left off with the "Straight flush ghetto"-album and again prove their uniqueness. Kick Ass Sound from the Champions League.
