"Breed the chosen one" LP by Horn Of The Rhino

After both successful releases "Weight of coronation" from 2010 and "Grengus" from 2012 one could come to the conclusion, that it's just lofical, that Horn Of The Rhino once again combine with Doomentia, but this time for a trip into history. Originally released in 2007 on 7th Gate Records "Breed The Chosen One" was the first album, the trio recorded still as Rhino at that time. In comparison to later albums the debut probably sounds even more aggressive and more in the direction of Thrash/Hardcore oriented. The sublimity about it is the uniquemixture from the most different kinds of varieties of metal - from Doom to Sludge and Grunge, which was cemented six years ago. That sounds like Danzig, High On Fire and the later Entombed play in one band. Dark and melodic and without fear of being slow and the next second opening the throttle.

Even back then front man and singer Javier Galvez was the centre of the band. He sounds like a possessed Chris Cornell on his way to hell and catapults "Breed the chosen one" to the next level with it.

Besides the band proves the guys from Bilbao didn't wait till "Weight of coronation" to sound wicked awesome.
