by Jürgen Tschamler (18.12.2006) Wasn't there a U.S. band of the same name in the early 90s? This, however, is a British All-Girl troop placing their first album. According to the info sheet, the band needed almost two years for the album realization. Maybe that is the reason why the album is so variable. Musically, they range from heavy rocking Alternative sounds to metallic, speedy regions. In between, they present some a fine Punk riff and wraps that all into a state-of-the-art production. Big plus of the band is singer Leah Duors, who especially in the more aggressive songs adds the certain something and the extra kick with her charming voice. While the title track is enormously angry and aggressive, "Numb" leads you into a hip Alternative Rock. Clocking in at only 30 minutes, this debut is quite short but absolutely convincing. These girls kick ass!
