10.Closure
by Tuomas Valtanen (04.07.2007) After his sacking from Fear Factory, it had become calm around Dino Cazares. While his ex-colleagues announced their split already after the following album (which was the best they could do), the guitarist set forth his Brujeria-project and has with Asesino another candle burning. With Divine Heresy, Dino offers a new name, and this trio has definitely the biggest potential! Heavy, massive and aggressive, Cazares very clearly orientates in his former band. Of course, he had stamped the sound of Fear Factory, anyway, and especially his riffing is very characteristic. Yet, with Tommy Vext he also got a singer on board whose voice is not dissimilar to that of Burton C. Bell. Only the cyber elements were left outside. Independently of all cross references, "Bleed the fifth" is a hell of an album that convinces immediately with its precise riffs and catchy structures occupying a niche that has still some spare room.
