In celebration of the 50th year anniversary of the Scorpions, the black LP version of "Blackout" is released as an original replica version on 180g vinyl including a CD in a sleeve pocket with the original songs in addition to the bonus tracks.
The 1982 released album "Blackout" finally carried the Scorpions into hard rock heaven and is now regarded as as a genre classic, together with the iconic art of Austrian artist Gottfried Helnwein. The band manages to create a perfect balance between powerful hard rock ("Blackout", "China White", "Now", "Dynamite") and emotional power ballads ("No One Like You", "You Give Me All I Need", "When The Smoke Is Going Down"). This album has it all: Pure aggression, sharp guitars, strong emotions and superb melodies.
