As Thrill Jockey label colleagues and kindred spirits Black Pus and Oozing Wound created a limited split-LP together. The LP captures the energy of both bands in raw shape. While Black Pus show a new side, Oozing Wound offers a foretaste of the recently mixed second album. The Black Pus opener "Blood Will Run" is for the first time a song with undistorted vocals. The song addresses to the useless murder of Jordan Davis by Michael Dunn, who complained about too loud music coming from an SUV, in which David was hitching a ride. Oozing Wound distilled four hours of studio material for the three songs respectively 15 minutes of their side.
