They definitely have the potential to equal that - which is not surprising if consider that in their hopeless native country the staring to the emptiness of the icy tundra can be seen as one of the more interesting things to do.... there can come up a lot of frustration. And that is reduced by 36 Crazyfists on "Bitterness the star". They combine the loud-silent bipolarity of the Deftones with the intensity of Post-Hardcore bands like Quicksand and create a massive wall of sound of emotional vocals, riffs and melodies. "Bury me where I fall" and "One more word" should be the darkest songs of the album, for both they got assistance of Skinlab-frontman Esquivel and the lead singer of Nora. Result: if you really wanna be hammered into the ground, this is the stuff for you ...
