by Andreas Reissnauer (null) Cradle Of Filth celebrate the beginning of a new decade with the foundation of their own label AbraCadaver. The first release is their own new c.d., which however, can not be seen as a complete new album. The record features four new songs, an intro, three older re-recorded tracks plus a covers version of the Sisters Of Mercy ("No time to cry"). No doubt, this c.d. is essential for fans of the band. The new songs are no leftovers of any other session, at least they don't sound like that, but absolute highlights in typical Cradles-manner. Also the cover-version was converted adequately. It may be doubted if the re-recordings of "Summer dying faster", "Principle of evil made flesh" and "Black goddess rises" were necessary. Even if they differ from the original versions, they still remain the old songs. Yet still: for Cradle Of Filth-fans, this c.d. alone for the new songs is a must.
