by Jürgen Tschamler (04.10.2006) Behind this band name there is no less than Immortal sachem, Abbath in combination with members named Ice Dale (Enslaved), TC King (Gorgoroth) and Armagedda (ex-Immortal). There had been rumours about a possible album in this constellation, now you get the end result. Lyrically, Demonaz (ex-Immortal) brought himself in, too, yet he is not planned for the live activities of the band. "Between two worlds" is a high value, absolutely classic Epic Black Metal with a tremendous lot of Bathory influences. I am not very much of an Immortal fan but what they deliver on this album is a true hitter. The material is not only for extreme fans, rather the opposite is the case, because the majority of songs is somehow mass compatible and still tears the ears of True Metal fans to pieces. It's a wall of guitars coming over you, yet so cultivated that you can't but bang your head. With "Far beyond the quiet" they pay tribute to Bathory, Quorthon (R.I.P.) would have loved it in this quality. The eight tracks will delight the fans of Immortal.
