by Sonja Angerer (12.03.2008) According to the five guys from Bochum, they have devoted to the renewal of Industrial – and on their second album combine this "Post-Industrial" with a big portion of mean electronics. "You don‘t know anything" and Rock "Change the world". The tracks always remain catchy, no matter if they come along as a melancholic hymn, such as "Sometimes" or as an angry charge with heavily distorted vocals in "Lies". Always, (Glam)rocky guitars play an important role – Jesus on Extasy interpret Industrial on a very American, Metallic way. Sometimes, they have the depth of NIN at the times of "Downward spiral" ("Break you apart"). And if they drift into EBM electronics ("Falling"), they become extremely danceable, too. Yet, those songs are not as rich as e.g. the title track and opener when guitars, 80s-influenced synths and sensible vocals combine for a perfect unit.
