by Markus Eck (10.01.2007) Was the 2003-predecessor "Divine",still heavy Melodic Death Metal with strong Neo Thrash-sides to it, "Bedtime prayers" kills even more updated. Because this igniting, melodic murderer not only tends towards the best Metalcore-bands currently around - their typically aggro melodies have even been improved by Blinded Colony. The music couldn't be more typically for the band's origin. This new mixture of the best moments of bands like e.g. In Flames, Soilwork and The Duskfall is absolutely convincing. Added was a big portion of hate that was directly transformed from the bellies into the recording machines. The two guitarists, Tobias Olsson and Johan Blomstrom, hit their wild string chords with full power and it is in the duet that these two are unbeatable. In times, these competent moose-riders present such powerful rhythm monsters that the sonic power bends your ear brims.
