by Jürgen Tschamler (July 2004) On their third album, the Danes convince more than ever with skull crushing Death Thrash Metal that comes across so fiercely that your neighbours will get a heart attack. The album produced by Tommy Hansen is really a slap in the face. Mean, devilish and in times also faster than the already excellent predecessors, "Ballet of the brute" has no mercy in terms of precise riffs and endless manpower. Exodus meets Destruction meets Death resulting in some brutal Swedish death metal. 10 times, the Danes eat and mill with a rural power into the centre of the shocked metal maniac's brain. "Only the strongest", "Downward to nothing" or the incredible "Deathtrip" speak a clear language. The forehead must bleed! Jacob Bredahl roars all his anger out of the lungs and with his 'kill-me'-voice perfectly adds to the great, hurting riffs of Hansen/Jacobson. "Ballet of the brute" is Hatesphere's little masterpiece in Death Thrash that no fan should come by. (JΓΌrgen Tschamler - July 2004)
