by Matthias Mader (10.04.2007) With "Bad blood", Deep Eynde deliver a really great Punk'n'Roll-album, with them, the label of the strange name I Used To Fuck People Like You have a quite stout fish at the hinge. The 13 songs convince by doing without almost everything we know from the usual cliches of this genre hyped almost to death. Songs, like "We don't care about you" and "Date from hell" (no guarantee for the correctness of the song titles for I didn't have any song list) are simply brilliant Punk Rock-songs. The production pleasantly lifts from the currently so modern "Wall of sound"-sound, the single instruments are transparently mixed, especially the guitars are very crunchy and leave themselves enough room to perfectly adjoin each other. The vocals are gurgled in best Danzig-manner and radiate a gloomy, cool horror aura leaving bands like The 69 Eyes like ridiculous Tokio Hotel-copyists. Deep Eynde are the only true thing, "Bad blood" is the album that Type O Negative have never recorded!
