by Jürgen Tschamler (24.07.2009) Let your imagination roam freely... Which associations do names like Admiral Nobeard, Commodore RedRum, and Captain Crashride evoke in your head? Red alert for clichés galore: old Hollywood flicks starring Errol Flynn with a parrot on his shoulder drinking rum, singing "Yohoho, me mates!" So far, so good - Swashbuckle play with the pirate props, but that's all: musically, they're much tougher than their "idols". "Back to the noose" is a Thrash'n'Punk treasure chest (to stay "in the picture"...) reminding you sometimes even of S.O.D. Fast as a connon ball, weird, and very old school, you're flogged with short and hefty Thrash parts, leaving you exhausted - to make up for that, you'll get some humorous interludes... Don't take them too serious, go get yourself a rum and enjoy those Spanish sounds, Caribbean impressions, pirate shanties, and more. Suitable for excessive Thrash parties!
