by Alexander Ertner (10/02) So, Grave are back! Forgotten is the last, rather unimportant official album, "Hating Life" from 1996. The new album, "Back From The Chaos" takes up where the just re-released "Into The Grave" left off. Has it really been 10 years since that album? It hasn't if you listen to the new recordings. The band presents an album that will turn the fans upside down and will let the new listeners hopefully lead to old classics of Entombed, Unleashed and of course Grave. Everything is - almost - like it used to be. The "Sunlight Studios" - which else - provided the right sound, the band fortunately does without unnecessary extras and leave only one impression: Great! Not ingenious, but consequent. Not innovative but infectious. This is an album that should, no has to be bought by every fan of straight Death Metal. Special bonus: the initial pressing is being released as a double album featuring 3 demo-classics from 1988 and '89. So, let¦s be honest: if you don't get yourself this one fast, you'll never be part of it.
