by Jürgen Tschamler (27.04.2009) "Are you ready" is the sixth album by Bai Bang, and stalwart fans can relax and be happy: the Swedes have been 100% true to themselves. No experiments, no attempt to sound "new" - the band simply stays as it is. As usual, they deliver Glam'n'Sleaze Hard Rock deeply rooted in the 80s - you might have heard and enjoyed something like that in some club on Sunset Strip way back. The only downside is that the material hasn't got as much clout as the older stuff - some tracks are a tad below average and don't catch too much attention... Altough luckily, that doesn't happen very often. Apart from that, you'll get your fill of tight, melodic, and smooth 80s sound. The first song "I like the things you hate" is the essence of the band's style (it's one of the best on the album): combos such as Ratt, L.A.Guns, Cinderella, Britny Fox are big influences for Bai Bang.
