After playing some sold out shows in Germany in October, the American progressive pop band 'Antemasque' release their debut album on November, 21st. It is available on CD and LP. Everybody who has had a focus on rock music in recent years knows the names of Omar Rodiguez Lopez and Cedric Bixler Zavala. With bands like At The Drive-In and The Mars Volta, they went down in pop history. Antemasque was founded in 2014 and from the beginning, these guys wrote and recorded new songs. Apart from Omar and Cedric, RHCP legend Flea is the bass player and Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch controls the drums on this album. Omar’s brother Marfred Rodriguez Lopez recently became a permanent member of the band as the bass player for their live shows. On April, 9th, the band showed their first sign of life and released the breathtaking debut single "4am". Three more songs were put out on the internet in the following weeks. Their complete debut album was released for a short time on July, 1st. Since November, 21st, their self-titled debut is officially available for purchase. Of course, the album has to live up to extremely high expectations, as all of the band members were quite successful in the past. Nonetheless, Antemasque, too, will be sure to create a hyperactive thunderstorm of sound with their first albums release!
