There is no need for discussions about Agnostic Front's status in the hardcore scene: Even in the metal scene, the guys around cult figure, Roger Miret enjoy an exceptional reputation. For a good reason! Hardly any other band has done so much for the hardcore genre as the New Yorkers, not to mention their records. "Cause for alarm", "One voice" or "Something's Gotta Give" are classics of the genre. Bands like Hatebreed or Terror would just not exist without the tremendous influence of A.F. After three years, we now see the release of their new album, and what can I say? These guys kick ass! Produced by Zeuss and Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed), this album is the full serve that we need. A hardcore lesson, absolutely uncompromising and with full force. Musically, A.F. go far back to their oots, and in my eyes, "Another voice" sounds many times like "One voice" with a touch of "Cause for alarm". One of the killers of the album is "Hardcore! (The defination)", predestined to become THE new hardcore hymn. 14 songs of pure aggression and anger - "Another voice" is definitely one of the records of the year 2004! Bonus is a livevideotrack for your computer! Monstrous! (Jürgen Tschamler - November 2004)
