by Florian Drees (13.04.2010) Straight from Little Creek Studios: here come Pro-Pain with their new output "Absolute power"! Well, let's hope that the contents of the CD live up to that title (to be honest, when I saw the cover artwork for the first time, I was a little sceptic)... But fortunately, my doubts were unjustified. We all know and love Pro-Pain because of their simple, but brutal guitar riffs, and we're happy to listen to that old-school stuff like we're at Christmas when mom cooks our favourite dish - you know it, still you'll always dig it. Same goes for "Absolut Power" - another favourite dish! Gary Meskil and his boys come across as aggressive as usual, turning your living room into a mosh pit. A highlight: the guest performance by Schmier (Destruction) on irate "Stand my ground". Buy it. This is a thorough work-out session!
