"Abbey Road - 50th Anniversary" CD by The Beatles

This deluxe 2CD version combines the new stereo mix with sessions and demo versions of the 17 songs, and comes with a 40-page booklet featuring a condensed version of the contents from the super deluxe book.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of 'Abbey Road,' this critically acclaimed Album is being released with new mixes and previously unreleased session and demo recordings. All Abbey Road - 50th Anniversary editions include the new stereo mix of the Album, created directly from the original 8-track tapes.

In addition to the new stereo mix of the Album, the limited super deluxe edition includes two additional CDs featuring 23 previously unreleased session and demo recordings, as well as a Blu-ray Audio with the Album in Dolby Atmos, 96kHz/24 bit high-res stereo, and 96kHz/24 bit DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. The four discs are housed in a 12'x12' slipcase with a 100-page hardcover book featuring a foreword by McCartney, Giles Martin's introduction, detailed chapters by Beatles historian Kevin Howlett, a track-by-track analysis, rare, previously unreleased photos, lyrics, sketches, and more.

The limited deluxe 3 LP box set of Abbey Road includes all 40 tracks from the super deluxe edition on three 180g LPs in faithful reproductions of the original sleeves, and a 4-page insert, all housed in a box.

Originally released on September 26, 1969 in the UK and Germany, and on October 1 in the USA, the eleventh Album 'Abbey Road' reached number one on the charts in all three countries with songs like 'Come Together' and 'Here Comes The Sun.' It is also the last Album that John, Paul, George, and Ringo recorded together.
