Excellent Service
Founded in 1995, the Contemporary Youth Orchestra aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn and perform new and contemporary orchestral music. One of their regular projects involves collaborating with well-known pop and rock bands such as Jefferson Starship, Styx, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, as well as Kenny Loggins, among others, for orchestral concerts where the artists' works are performed. This involves a slightly different arrangement of their music, with the orchestra working closely with the composer to develop a complete orchestral performance.
This show was unlike any other Night Ranger show – not only were donations collected for the Contemporary Youth Orchestra Education Fund, but the band also decided to film and showcase the entire performance to the general public, from start to finish. These unique interpretations of their greatest hits were performed with a full symphony orchestra for the first time ever. The setlist included the band's classics, new songs, and covers, making this Night Ranger concert a truly one-of-a-kind event.
