by Sonja Angerer (26.06.2007) This beautiful box consisting of a double CD, a double DVD and a bonus DVD, contains the highlights of the "20 Years Of Electronic Avantgarde"-tour of Deine Lakaien, who were on the road with 30 members of the New Philharmonic Orchestra Frankfurt. On the audio discs you get all the 21 songs of the show - excellent interpretations between modernity and classic adding fascinating new aspects to songs like "Away", "Mindmachine" or the Lakaien-hit, "Love me to the end". For the DVDs, the show in the Oberhausen Arena was filmed with 12 cameras from all angles. They also contain a 20 minute documentary of the tour: Marat Burnashev, a pupil of Wim Wenders, takes the watcher by the hand and leads him behind the scenes of the artists' life on tour. On the bonus DVD you furthermore get some material form the vaults, such as recordings from the acoustic tour, and of "Winter fish testosterone", as well as all Lakaien-videos collected.
