by Oliver Kube (03.02.2009) There are but few female Metal musicians or even all-female bands – even in the year 2009, so if you happen to stumble over one of them, you’ll gladly be generous regarding one or the other little artistic shortcoming. Well, this isn’t necessary as far as these ladies and their second album is concerned. Their cocky Punk Rock sound, more than adequate performance, their songs - the Swedish girls pull it off with style. After the release of their debut "In distortion we trust" 2005, they performed on almost every big Rock and Metal festival on the European continent, and also toured with Motörhead (Lemmy acting, as he had done before for such acts like Girlschool and Rock Goddess, as the supporting big brother). Which seems to have provided them with a lot of confidence: on powerful and pumping tracks like "Creatures" or "Killer on his knees", they work remarkably aggressive and determined, for example. This is timeless, awesome Heavy Rock - with brains and hearts.
