Fun Fact 1: Doll instead of monkey


Master Yoda's character was originally supposed to be played by a monkey with a walking stick and a face mask. Fortunately, this consideration was reconsidered, so that in the end the alternative with a puppet was resorted to. Thanks to the animated possibilities, Yoda was subsequently given his lightsaber to fight with.


Fun Fact 2: Little helpers in a big way


In "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Knights", the heroes meet furry little creatures who help them. These creatures are called "Ewoks" and are not even mentioned by name in the entire film. Nevertheless, the Ewoks are very famous and many Star Wars fans love the little bears.

R2RD has an extremely funny name origin story. During the filming of the movie "American Graffiti"" a sound engineer asked George Lucas for a sound track with the following wording: "Reel 2, dialogue track 2"". George Lucas liked the resulting abbreviation - R2D2 - so much that he christened the little robot R2D2 in Star Wars.
