But it only took Baby Yoda a short time to overtake the main character. The 50-year-old infant with strong powers is too cute and cuddly. Part of the mystery surrounding Baby Yoda is that the name of the character, (like that of the main character), is still unknown. Director Taiki Waititi recently revealed that naturally "The Child" has a name, however, it will only be revealed in the second season. Since the start of Disney + “The Child” has been on everyone's lips here in the UK. But it took hard work and a lot of money to make the character illusion perfect. Baby Yoda is by no means a simple computer animation. Rather, the effects specialists from Legacy Effects brought “The Child” to life through an elaborate animatronic doll. Disney spent around five million dollars on the creation and two puppeteers are needed to bring Baby Yoda to life in the series. CGI effects are only used to support scenes in which the Animatronic reaches its limits.
