We know everyone was scrambling over the ring, but there’s more Lord of the Rings inspired jewellery to enjoy…

”One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.” We don’t know about you, but this ring sounds like a helluva lot of trouble. So, why bother? Skip the ring and check out the different Lord of the Ring necklaces we’ve got to offer.

A follow-up Tolkien’s short novel The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings (LOTR) became one of those rare examples of the sequel surpassing the original. Originally intended to be a single volume of work – sold as a two-volume set with Tolkien’s The Silmarillion - the gargantuan story was eventually released as three individual titles: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King.

The Lord of the Rings was already huge, but it became stratospheric after the release of Peter Jackson’s first movie adaptation in 2001. Not only did the first LOTR film bring the story of the powerful ring, the brave Baggins hobbits and a treacherous journey to Mordor to life, it introduced new generations to the world of Tolkien. Across three years, the three LOTR movies earned a collective $2.9 billion and won 17 Academy Awards.

Whether you’re a book loyalist or you were introduced to the world of Tolkien through the movies, once you’re in, you’re in for life. Celebrate your newfound fandom – your Fellowship – with a special set of jewellery. A Lord of the Rings necklace can become your go-to daily piece or kept for special occasions.

Available in our EMP store, the Lord of the Rings necklace options include a majestic openable pocket watch. Reminiscent of the type worn proudly by Bilbo Baggins, when you open the necklace, the engraving on the clock face reads: ‘I’m Going On An Adventure!’ A perfect gift for yourself or a fellow LOTR fan.

Once you’ve shopped for your newest LOTR necklace, don’t forget to check out what other official Lord of the Rings merchandise we’ve got at EMP.
