Captain America T-shirts & Tops
Oh say can you see… EMP proudly stands as the land of the free and the home of the... best Captain America t-shirts.
Captain America. The Captain. Steve Rogers… or Sam Wilson. For a character who first appeared on the pages of comic books back in 1941, his legacy and the continuation of his canon continues to grip fans of all ages. Thanks to Disney+ miniseries "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", we expect our Captain America shop to be getting even more additions, so keep checking back as Marvel moves forward with the story.
But first, let’s look back. Before he was Sam Wilson (aka The Falcon), he was Steve Rogers. All-American hero who is about as American as it can get. His costume is red, white and blue. His shield has the infamous star. He is noble, moral and always does what's right – even when it’s hard. He may be a bit of a propaganda piece, but they’ve made him one hell of a piece of a propaganda.
The origins of 'Cap' spoke to the crisis facing males around the beginning of the Second World War. A frail young artist – Rogers – elects to be enhanced to the peak of human perfection after joining the military, by taking an experimental super-soldier serum. One little serum and an icon was born. Captain America has been a mainstay for Marvel ever since, appearing under his own comic book titles, facing off against foes like Red Skull, Madam Hydra and, er, Adolf Hitler. But 'the Cap' has been such a popular character he has influenced the storylines of other Marvel franchises, including the X-Men, Fantastic Four and, of course, The Avengers.
Whether you’ve been following Captain America through the years or are a recent convert thanks to Chris Evans and the MCU movies, there’s a selection of Captain America t shirts for everyone at EMP. From the iconic shield logo to designs featuring his early comic book appearance, our Captain America t shirts come in inclusive sizes for both men and women. Cap would’ve been one of the first supporters of equality, after all.
If that wasn’t enough to have you pledging your allegiance already, some of our Captain America t shirts include designs exclusive to EMP. Shop the full collection today!
