Whether it's chunky jump boots, chic high heels, sneakers or sandals: there's hardly a more pleasant feeling than taking off your shoes after a long day and slipping into a pair of comfortable house shoes. Just leave the world behind, crack open a beer or brew some tea or cocoa, flop on the couch with a movie or book and put your warmly wrapped feet up - absolutely unbeatable.
And what if you're already relaxed? No problem - even on a relaxing bum day at home, your feet are always guaranteed to feel more comfortable in cosy slippers.
Chic is what you make it
House shoes, as the name suggests, are not necessarily for the street or a hike - although you've certainly spotted intriguing specimens at festivals or in particularly cosy bars. If the bartender at your local pub isn't so understanding that you want to enjoy your after-work drink in a particularly comfortable way, you can still use them in a very versatile way.
Why not host a party with a special charm and demand that all guests come in evening dress and slippers? Or confidently liven up the garage party with chunky slippers?
With the versatile models in the EMP Online Shop you can add a certain touch to even the most casual bum outfit when gambling or cooking with friends - and it can't be said often enough: not even in the most noble, most expensive wellness footbath with who knows what exotic oils, blossoms and gold leaf do your feet feel anywhere near as comfortable as in warm slippers.
The right house shoe for every foot
The slippers in EMP's online shop come in a variety of models from simple slip-ons to thick, fluffy kicks and chic versions reminiscent of the chucks so popular in indie and skater circles. So whether you're going for simple or stylish, or you want to feel like your feet are wrapped in clouds, you're well catered for either way.
House shoes - Warm feet cool design
Some people may find the fluffy footwear with its admittedly somewhat dusty epithets such as "pushes" or slippers rather uncool. But that just means they're imagining old-fashioned kicks like grandma and grandpa wear. If you take a look at the EMP online shop, you'll quickly realise that this hasn't been the case for a long time. Instead of boring footwear, there's a whole range of unique designs:
Star Wars fan? There's Jedi with a sense of cosiness as well as droids to look for. Comic book lovers will get their money's worth with slippers in Wonder Woman design or genuine Bat slippers. Those who don't want to miss out on their favourite style at home are definitely well served by the sneaker slippers.
And what goes best with a cosy evening at home? That's right: biscuits! Any crumbs that might fall will be disposed of in a flash by the cookie monsters for the feet. No matter what you're into, with these versatile variations you can always show exactly what you're into, even when you're sitting on the sofa at home. And that's right: they're damn cosy, too!
