In autumn or winter, or at higher altitudes, you quickly reach your weather limit. Especially when a cold wind is blowing through the streets, and all you want to do is look for the next warm place. The main reason this weather is so unpleasant is not just the cold temperatures, but also the biting wind. With many regular jackets, the wind can simply pass through the small meshes in the fabric and cool you down even through your coat. On the other hand, if you have chosen an extremely thick and firm winter jacket, it’s not uncommon for you to start sweating after a few minutes. A perfect balancing act between wind protection and warmth is a windbreaker, often also referred to as a wind stopper.
No draft can survive
A cold wind can be extremely uncomfortable because it cools you down much faster. To prevent this, you should get a windbreaker jacket. With this item, the cold blowing breeze has no chance, because the jacket is specially designed so that wind doesn’t pass through the material. If you were standing in a strong breeze now, in a windbreaker jacket from EMP the air would simply pass you by. And it’s not only the wind that can be a problem in the cold season, but also the sub-zero temperatures. But don't worry, because a windbreaker is also wonderfully lined, so you can spend many hours outdoors.

Due to its special properties, the windbreaker is particularly interesting for one sub culture: athletes. You don't want to do without your morning jog or weekend bike tour in the autumn and winter. With a Windstopper jacket it’s not a problem and both men and women alike benefit from the many advantages of a windbreaker.
After all, there are many different offers that will surely suit your taste. If you want to be seen, you can score with a windbreaker in eye-catching colours such as red, green or yellow. If on the other hand, you want to underline your particular style or show which band you prefer, the various prints available in the EMP online shop will certainly help you out.
Sporty-chic or rather non mainstream?
Just because it's cold outside and a sharp wind whistles around the corners doesn't mean you don't have to look good. What's great about the wind breaker is that you don’t have to send ours styling your outfit. Basically, it’s the perfect accompaniment if you’re wearing jeans or trousers. Tighter tube-style models are also a good idea, because they can draw attention to your jacket immediately. In winter a practical choice to go with your outfit is, or course, thick biker boots. But simple trainers can also fit perfectly, because the wind stopper generally looks quite sporty. Everyone will immediately think that you are a really committed athlete - even if you don't exercise a lot!
