The Maverick awakens in you in this outrageously casual basic. No wonder: the Bomber jacket was originally developed in the late 1950s as a flight jacket for American Air Force fighter pilots. From here, the functional military clothing quickly conquered the hearts of civilians. These include screen legend Steve McQueen, who popularized the garment in the early 1960s. In the 80s the burgeoning hip hop culture discovered the Bomber jacket for itself.
And today? This important part of fashion culture ultimately stands for unlimited freedom and wild spirit. This wardrobe basic definitely makes every outfit a rocking statement.
How do you recognize a real bomber jacket? Very simple: The original is made of light nylon, has a comfortable oversized cut and knitted cuffs on the collar, sleeves and lower edge. The result of all these features is the perfect combination of maximum comfort and a cool look. A timeless classic!
