When a classic brand like Doc Martens takes on a classic shoe like the Chelsea boot, you know to expect nothing but class…
Chelsea boots have been a classic style staple for decades, for both men and women. Chelsea boots, by design, are known for their close-fitting silhouette and usually feature stretchy elastic side panels. The mark of a good Chelsea boot usually includes a loop or fabric tab at the back to allow for easy pulling on and off, a classic design feature from the boots’ Victorian origins.
Dr Martens have revamped the Victorian trend and given it the spirit of rebellion that runs deep through Dr Martens as a brand. Taking the fundamentals of a classic like the Chelsea boot, Dr Martens’ have given them a high-quality, timeless rebirth, making them the perfect pair for all occasions, no matter the dress code and no matter the weather.
It’s the Dr Martens way, after all, to make shoes that refuse to compromise on either style or substance. Taking simple silhouettes like the Chelsea boot allows their wearers to adopt the boots and shoes as part of their own individual and very distinctive style; on a practical level, the undeniable durability and comfort of Dr Martens’ quality materials and finish make them ideal for people on the go – from work to play, night through day.
