Krawallbrüder – music with a high recognition value

Many fans agree: some voices and rhythms are simply characterized by an enormous recognition value. This undoubtedly also applies to the riot brothers from Saarland. For some, just a few notes are enough to recognize the songs from albums like "Mehr Hass" or "Auf Messers Schneide". And if you take a little time not only to listen to the band's music, but also to deal with the covers of the CDs, you will surely quickly realize that it is not difficult to recognize a uniform pattern here either.

Who are the riot brothers?

The music of the riot brothers is characterized by sometimes uncomfortable themes, hard sounds and a lot of authenticity. However, the boys are not without controversy, especially in the left-wing spectrum. They have to defend themselves again and again against accusations of having contacts with the right-wing scene. This is exactly what has led to many discussions in the past, including around a tattoo of the singer. The motif in question is an SS skull skull with a black eye, which – according to the band – stands for the demarcation from the right-wing spectrum, but is interpreted differently by critics. In numerous official statements, the riot brothers distance themselves from political extremes.
