Iron Maiden Jumpers
To think, there was a time in our lives when we fought our parents about not wanting to wear a jumper to stay warm. It wasn’t cool. It wasn’t rock and roll. If only we always had access to these Iron Maiden jumpers and cardigans…
The selection of Iron Maiden jumpers from EMP include sweatshirts, zip-up hoodies and light jackets, all given a much-needed reimagination. Far from being boring or basic, our Iron Maiden jumpers contain the same spirit which has kept the band fresh, ferocious and formidable for nearly five decades.
Iron Maiden are, to put it mildly, one of the biggest bands the world has ever seen – across any genre. Formed in Leyton, London back in 1975, their unique sound incorporates elements of heavy metal, hard riffs and stadium filling vocals.
One of the most prominent acts born out of the NWOBHM – the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, the official name of the era of heavy metal that dominated British music from the 70s to the early 80s – Iron Maiden have gone on to help redefine just what heavy metal is. Using punk elements plus more progressive, experimental elements across iconic albums like Powerslave, The Number of the Beast and Somewhere in Time, Iron Maiden have always kept their sound fresh yet uniquely them. And it paid off. They’ve sold over 100 million records worldwide.
With such a rich sound and iconic stage shows, we couldn’t get away with serving up some dull, uninspired Iron Maiden jumpers or jackets. This is why the selection includes bold prints, eye-catching, edgy designs and that distinguishable rock and roll spirit.
Take the Book of Souls Eddie hoodie. This is not just any other hoodie, the kind you wouldn’t mind spilling your cereal on when watching the news in the morning. No, this design showcases the trademark Iron Maiden lettering along with the font from the Book of Souls album. When you pop the hood up too, expect to hear some screams from behind. Emblazoned on the back of the hood is the skeletal face of Eddie, the figure who has become something of a mascot for Iron Maiden.
This particular example is one of our EMP exclusives – and there’s plenty more! Exclusive designs you can only get from EMP include a Fear of the Dark hoodie and a zip up Iron Maiden jacket in khaki.
From jumpers bearing the artwork from iconic albums to vintage prints from the band’s tours, every fan is guaranteed to find the Iron Maiden jumper which is their perfect fit. We’re proud to offer an inclusive range of sizes for men, women, child and other – it’s not about the person, it’s about how they wear it. And these Iron Maiden jumpers deserve to be worn by anybody who has the right spirit.
