Guns N' Roses is one of the world's biggest "hard rock" bands, and songs such as "Paradise City", "Civil War" and "November Rain" rocked fans' worlds for many years. Drugs, alcohol and women were a central focus in Axl Rose's life, not forgetting the countless performances in front of hundreds and thousands of fans.
Albums such as "Appetite For Destruction", "Use your Your Illusion, Vol.1" and "Use Your Illusion, Vol.2" gained the Californian band a special place on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and more than 100 million albums have been sold worldwide to date.
Guns N' Roses are still loved, and we hope it always remains that way. These masters of rock have dominated the scene, with classics such as "Welcome To The Jungle", "Sweet Child O' Mine", "November Rain" and "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" having influence over many a music fan.
Slash & Co.'s legendary riffs
Slash's guitar riffs are second to none, and this virtuoso certainly masters his craft. But GNR's members changed at the same pace Axl threw his empty beer bottles away.
Guitar soloists included Slash, Buckethead Bumblefoot and Robert Finck, whilst only Axl Rose remained a permanent member throughout the band's existence. "Big" bassists included Duff McKagan, Ole Beich and Tommy Stinson, and even though its members changed like there was no tomorrow, its quality almost never suffered.
