Patches
The back patch - it's at the heart of every cowl and battle vest, an expression of your own taste and also a kind of status symbol. Available from countless bands, the choice of the large back patch should be made wisely. After all, you wear your vest for a lifetime - it's even usual not to wash it!
Do you want classic back patches?
The back patch should be reserved for your absolute favourite band. With the Back patch you show everyone the metal that you are made of. It doesn't matter whether you like it hard, melodic, black or deadly - you will definitely find the right patch for you at EMP. If you've been lulled to sleep with “Iron Man” or “Highway to Hell”, then you will surely want to adorn your cowl with a patch from Black Sabbath or AC / DC. There are numerous designs to choose from.
Of course, the album covers of important works are often represented. Some patches are more general and only carry the band logo or other well-known motifs. For example, if you want a Motörhead back patch, you can find numerous variants on which the mascot Snaggletooth can be seen. Most Maiden patches can't do without an Eddie either. Sometimes he threatens you with an axe like on the album cover of "Killers" and other times he wields the Union Jack, as you know from the single "The Trooper".
Back patches for every genre
At EMP Thrashers and Vikings among the Metal heads are also taken care of. With a patch for Metallica's debut album “Kill 'Em All” you can pay homage to the beginnings of hit metal. If you've always been into Slayer - no problem either. There are enough patches and back-patches from the troop around Tom Araya and Kerry King. With all these veterans of Metal, however, younger bands are not forgotten either.
After all, acts like Amon Amarth are already firmly on the Olympus of metal bands. Well, maybe the Norsemen are more suitable for Valhalla. At least the motifs of most of the patches seem to be located there. Muscle-packed Vikings or richly decorated Mjölnir - fans of the Swedes will definitely get their money's worth here. Of course, the EMP online shop has even more to offer. Just have a look around and grab the back patch you need.
