Ear Studs

Ear studs are particularly popular with many people because they sit firmly on the earlobe and are therefore a very secure and durable item. There are many different sizes – from tiny to large studs with pendants, everything is possible. This results in a lot of styling possibilities for you!

Small stud earrings can be worn very well in hard-to-reach places on the ears. For example, other earrings with small studs can be added to the side of the pinna or helix. This is a great way for individualists to develop their own style. Many earrings and plugs fit together perfectly in terms of their theme, so that new variations are constantly being created. In some ear stud sets you can even put them together yourself. So there are always a few matching stud earrings to hand when you need to change.

Worth knowing about stud earrings

Stud earrings are usually closed from behind with a wing nut, which can always be adjusted a little. By bending it together or apart, the earring then sits more or less tightly. As the small closures tend to get lost, it is advisable to always have a few spare closures to hand – these can be bought individually. Small silicone caps are particularly suitable because they are very soft and hardly anyone is allergic to the material. To prevent inflammation of the earlobes, the ear studs and the caps should be regularly cleaned. An antiseptic is ideal for this purpose, so that all germs and skin grease are eliminated.

Ear studs are usually the earring of choice when earlobes are newly pierced. With the help of a kind of gun, the plugs are shot directly into the desired position and also closed directly. This method proves to be particularly quick and painless. If you are prone to allergies, you should always choose nickel-free ear stud sets – even silver is not tolerated by everyone. Stainless steel, on the other hand, is a great alternative for most allergy sufferers and is also very robust.
